Willful Wine, Pinot Blanc, Yamhill-Carlton, Willamette Valley, Oregon
The 2023 Pinot Blanc was made with fruit from the 40 year old vines of the Winkler Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA. The wine was fermented at 60°F in a combination of neutral oak barrels and stainless steel tanks. Daily bâtonnage was implemented to create a creamy texture on the mid palate.
This wine is crisp and fragrant, with bright acidity and a rich mouthfeel. It will pair wonderfully with seafood, especially oysters. The 2023 Pinot Blanc was made with fruit from the 40 year old vines of the Winkler Vineyard in the Yamhill-Carlton AVA.
